Our Town

Narrandera is a beautiful town located on the Murrumbidgee River, and at the intersection of two major highways. It is located approximately half way between Melbourne and Sydney, and within an hour of major centres like Wagga Wagga & Griffith. It is a great opportunity for many industries, with a base of operations as industrial land is readily available. 

Public transport services are abundant within Narrandera; the local airport is serviced by Rex and has a number of flights to & from Sydney daily. Countrylink also provides a regular train and bus service which provides transport to a number of major services.

We have excellent health services with a modern hospital, a Medical Super Clinic in the final stages of construction, and two quality aged care facilities. The local schools are of a high standard with excellent facilities and resources at each.

Sporting facilities within Narrandera are of a top level, with the AFL having hosted a number of pre-season matches at Narrandera sportsgrounf in recent years. There are multitudes of sports available, especially for kids. Not only is there football, but there is basketball, netball, water skiing, boating, fishing, volleyball, swimming, golf, cricket - you name it, we have it!

Narrandera's community spirit is second to none - in March alone, many events are hosted, including the John O'Brien Festival with markets, concerts & parades, the Narrandera Gift & a multi-sport event known as Riverina Rush which invites people to participate in any level of cycling, swimming, running & triathlon events. April brings Hot Rods to town and the list goes on...
